Germany Tourist Visa for Indian Citizens

Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the last 2–3 years
Salary slips for the last 3 months
Employment letter and leave approval letter
Business registration documents (for self-employed applicants)
Proof of sufficient financial means
PAN card copy
Aadhaar card copy (if applicable)
Proof of civil status (if applicable)
Previous passports and visa history
Additional documents requested by the German Embassy or Consulate

Processing Time

Standard processing time: Approximately 15 calendar days
Some applications may require additional processing and can take up to 45 calendar days
Applicants are advised to apply at least 4–6 weeks before travel

Adult applicants: EUR 90
Children aged 6–11 years: EUR 45
Children below 6 years: Usually exempt from visa fees

VFS Service Fee

VFS Global service charges apply in addition to the visa fee.
